Garlic Mustard
 

 

Garlic Mustard, also known as Jack by the Hedge, is a common hedgerow plant in spring. The flowers are small and white, the leaves nettle-like and giving off a strong smell of garlic when crushed.

In flower from mid spring to early summer, found mainly in hedges and in woods. Widespread except in northern Scotland.
