Salad Burnet


Salad Burnet is a little unusual in having tiny, green flowers in compact rounded heads. The female styles are red and towards the top of the head, with the yellow anthers (male pollen producing part) below.

Abundant on calcareous grassland in the south, rare in Scotland, especially in the north. In flower from late spring to late summer.
