Horseshoe Vetch

Horseshoe Vetch gets its name from its pods, which are said to have segments resembling horseshoes ... if a certain amount of imagination is used.

It confines itself to chalk grassland habitats, where it is the foodplant of the Adonis Blue butterfly.
