Common Broomrape


Common Broomrape is a parasite feeding off various host plants including Dandelion-type plants, Wild Carrot and the Clovers. The stems are reddish-purple and the flowers with dark veins.

Appears during the summer and early autumn, scattered around mainly the south of England in grassy places.
