Coltsfoot

Coltsfoot is a yellow Dandelion-flower with disintinctive stems having whiteish, slightly purplish scales. The large, triangular leaves appear after the flowers, which themselves are seen early in the year and until mid spring.

Widespread on damp, clay soils, especially when bare.
