Three-nerved Sandwort

Three-nerved Sandwort gets its name from the veins on the pointed oval leaves. Not dissimilar to Chickweed, it is a rather fragile plant bearing small, 5-petalled white flowers with long, pointed sepals (underneath the petals).

In flower from mid spring to mid summer, found in woods and hedgebanks on richer soils.
