Hemlock Water Dropwort is a robust Umbellifer (member of the Carrot family with umbrella-like flower heads) with white flowers, hollow, grooved stems and glossy leaves.

Usually found near to fresh water, both in shade or in sun. Common only in the south and west. In flower during summer and early autumn.

Warning : This plant is very poisonous.
