Broad-leaved Willowherb

I sometimes wonder why the Broad-leaved Willowherb is so-called, because the leaves never seem to me to be especially broad. But maybe it's because I usually notice the upper leaves first, which are quite narrow compared with the lower ones.

The flowers are purple-pink, quite pale in my opinion, and the petals are deeply notched. The plant is found in woods and other shady places, not necessarily damp, and it flowers through the summer.
