Kidney Vetch

Kidney Vetch is a member of the Pea family, the flower head being a bunch of (usually) yellow flowers, the outer part of each flower (calyx) giving a generally woolly appearance.

It favours dry grasslands, often coastal or calcareous, and in rocky places throughout the country. Can be found in flower from late spring to early autumn.
