Sea Stock is a grey, very downy plant with the lower
leaves especially being wavy-edged and lobed. The flowers are 4-petalled
and pale purple in colour.
This is quite a rare plant, restricted in this country to the cliffs
and dunes of South Wales and North Devon. In flower from late spring
to late summer.
