Chiltern Gentian
 

 

The Chiltern Gentian is similar to the far more common Autumn Gentian, but with larger, brighter purple petals and larger leaves. It is confined mainly to the Chilterns area of England, where it is fairly common.

In flower during late summer and early autumn.
